This chicken soup recipe is perfect on a cold day. If you are looking for a recipe to make with your Thanksgiving leftovers, you can easily substitute shredded turkey for the chicken in the recipe.
Homemade Chicken Soup
- 2 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
- 4 garlic cloves, diced
- 1.5 onion, diced
- 2 cups carrots, shredded
- 2 cups celery, diced
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper
- 32 oz chicken broth
- Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and cook on low for 2-4 hours. Serve hot.
