This broccoli is the perfect side dish for just about any protein.  We eat every bit and never have leftovers.  It really is that good!

Lemon Roasted Broccoli

Servings 4


  • 1 head broccoli florets
  • 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp basil, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded


  • Preheat oven to 425. Cover a jelly roll pan with foil and set aside.
  • In a small bowl mix lemon juice, olive oil, basil, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • Spread broccoli florets evenly over foil lined pan. Drizzle mixture over broccoli, making sure to cover all pieces.
  • Sprinkle cheese over broccoli.
  • Bake for 20 minutes and serve.
