Was your email full of sales and promotions again today?  Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday have come and gone but the offers and sales are still showing up in full force!    The last few years I have become increasingly more aware of the struggle of gift giving, the amount of gifts that go unused and the stress of it all.  I truly enjoy buying gifts for others.  I love finding the perfect gift for the recipient, something they will use and enjoy.  This gift guide is designed to give you ideas to find and give the perfect gift, a gift that won’t be tossed or forgotten after a few weeks.

After a bit of research I’ve complied a list of common gift suggestions from parents – it includes gifts that are more than materialistic options, these are mostly experience gifts that create memories rather than adding to the clutter.  The common theme is that we are moving away from traditional gift giving and mass consumerism.  It seems that we are experiencing a large shift and people are placing value in experiences over things.  We know that the magic of the holiday season is not about consumerism.  It’s not about the newest gadget or toy.   Use this gift guide as a way to instill the idea that experiences are more important than things.
